Howell Film is now Howell Media

“What's your name sonny?"!
We’ve been Howell Film since 2009 and that has suited just fine, but increasingly as we’ve got involved in far more wider areas, the time is now right to formally become Howell Media. Same team, lots of great ideas and technical knowhow, but now with upgraded vim and vigour for 2023 and beyond!

Christmas & Gifts come early!

Howell Media have been busy filming extensive footage in readiness for new promotional content for Harrogate Christmas & Gift Fair in January 2023. The scale of the show is simply mind-blowing, the professional exhibitor set-up second to none and the people so warm and friendly. We’re all feeling oddly festive again at Howell HQ!

Howell Media - Back in Barney!

Working in collaboration with Peter Dixon and Mayor Rama Chatterjee, Howell Media have produced a short film to promote the town of Barnard Castle. There’s more to ‘Barney’ than meets the eye…particularly more than those who, controversially, came here to test their eyesight! To make the film we interviewed scores of locals and shot the town from numerous settings. The film is perfectly paced and reflects the values and experiences of the wonderful Barnard Castle folk!

Blessed are the Cheesemakers!

We’re delighted to be filming and producing a series of adverts for Teesdale Cheesemakers. Allison and Jonathan are utterly brilliant to work with and have got so much to offer! We recommend you visit Cafe Cheesedale on their farm where you can have lunch, a snack, a drink and choose from a range of wonderful locally sourced cakes and sweet treats.

Our very own Creative Director, and all round 'good egg (head)!', Chris Howell wins a prestigious Teesdale Business Award. It’s brilliant and thoroughly deserved that his hard work, dedication and patience has been recognised by his peers in the wider business community. Howell Media were also finalists in the Best Business Trading Outside Teesdale category. Go Chris, go team Howell!

Lovin’ the live-streaming

We’re thrilled by the responses to our recent event live-streams. We successfully deliver live-streams under the most challenging of circumstances, including bringing and temporarily installing our own rock-solid internet connection! We’ve laid 100's metres of cable without a single trip hazard, plugged in soooo much stuff, broadcast and edited LIVE online to 1000’s and left without a trace – often the same day!
